a stylist specializing in bedding, bath, windows and draperies, tabletop, off-figure, wardrobe, prop styling, and custom fabrication.
I got my start in 2004, after completing my BFA from The School of The Art Institute of Chicago. I tried out the commercial photography waters as a photo assistant, but found myself drawn to soft styling. I soon accepted a position as a photo stylist specializing in soft goods at Chicago catalog studio, Silver Lining. I worked there full-time for seven years.
When my daughter was born in 2011, I decided to transition to freelance and have enjoyed the variety of opportunities that the move has afforded me. Since then, I have expanded my experience by working with several large-scale commercial photography studios, retailers, independent photographers, publications, hotels, and architects.
My client list includes Bon-Ton, Crate & Barrel, Aldi, Target, Unison Home, Tag Ltd., JC Penney, Country Door, Sears, Grandin Road, Groupon, Costco, Handy Living, Wal-Mart, Art Van, Frontgate, Wells Fargo, Studio Gang, Metropolis Magazine, Autograph Collection, Hartland Digital, Centerpoint Marketing, Schawk, and many more.
When I'm not styling, you can find me chasing my kids around, playing bass guitar, or shopping estate sales.
